His research focuses on the preservation of 20th-century architectural heritage, with specific focus on legacy processes and issues of authorship in architectural restoration.

Architect and Research Fellow at the Department of Architecture and Design (DAD) at Politecnico di Torino. He holds a Bachelor’s in Architecture and Visual Communication Design from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali, Colombia, and a Master’s in Heritage Restoration and Enhancement from Politecnico di Torino. Experienced as an architect and landscape architect in different studios in Italy and Denmark. he has also completed diplomas in Landscape Architecture and Spanish Colonial Heritage in Latin America.

Architect and pre-doctoral fellow in the Department of Architecture at the University of Bologna, she pursued a single-cycle Master’s Degree in Architecture at Unibo in 2023. As Teaching Tutor for the course of Conservation theory of historic buildings and heritage conservation at the Engineering of building processes and systems CdLM in Ravenna, she participates in research groups such as the Lercaro Foundation, besides writing for Exibart as a contributor. In 2014 she served an internship on the Ministry of Culture’s Census of Italian Architecture from 1945 to the present.

Engineer and architect, he is currently a national PhD student in Heritage Sciences at Sapienza University of Rome and a member of the scientific societies SIRA and AISU.

His research focuses on the definition of predictive and preventive strategies for the conservation of historical built heritage, the management of historical architecture at risk, the development of knowledge-based tools for heritage conservation, the digitization of Cultural Heritage at all scales.

Università Politecnica delle Marche

Architect and PhD in Architectural Conservation and History of Architecture at the Iuav Doctoral School (Venice). He is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Architectural Restoration at Università Politecnica delle Marche, executive board member of DoCoMoMo Italia, and a member of SIRA. He has taught Architectural Restoration at Università di Udine and Iuav. His research focuses on the preservation of 20th-century architecture, and he co-authored the monograph “Forte Marghera Novecento”.

Architect, PhD in Architectural and Landscape Heritage., is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Architectural Restoration. Since 2017, he has been collaborating within restoration courses in the Bachelor and Master degree programs at the Politecnico di Torino. His research activity is mainly focused on the conservation and enhancement of architectural heritage in the state of ruins.

Her research focuses on the protection and restoration of monuments in times of war, the strategies for preserving Dissonant Heritage, and the heritage-making processes developed together with heritage communities.

She is a member of the Italian Society for the Restoration of Architecture (SIRA), the Armenian Society of Fellows, AISU, RESpro Efforts Europe, and serves as an expert consultant to the Urban Agenda Action Group on Integrated Approach to Dissonant Heritage.

PhD Architect, Assistant Professor (RTD-b) in Architectural Conservation at the Department of Construction, Civil Engineering and Architecture, Università Politecnica delle Marche.

She serves on the executive board of the Italian Society for the Restoration of Architecture (SIRA) and on the scientific board of the Italian Institute for Castles (IIC). She is a full member of AISU International and EFFORTS Europe.

Her research focuses on the restoration of fortified architecture, the preservation of dissonant heritage, preventive and planned conservation strategies, risk management, and community engagement in heritage-making processes.

Politecnico di Torino

Associate Professor in Architectural Restoration at the Politecnico di Torino, Department of Architecture and Design DAD, he teaches theoretical courses and design workshops in the graduate programs in architecture at the Politecnico di Torino; he is a referee of the Master’s Degree in Architecture for Heritage and is a member of the board of the Doctorate in Architectural and Landscape Heritage.

He focuses his research activity on issues related to historical heritage and conservation theory and practice, particularly concerning architectural ruins and strategies for restoration and enhancement of cultural heritage.

She is a full member of Italian Scientific Society SIRA, AISU and CICOP Internacional. Her research field focuses on post-war reconstruction, Cultural Creative Industry applied to Cultural Heritage, preservation of 20th century architecture, especially the Heritage of totalitarian regime (Dissonant Heritage), problems of conservation related to the Indoor Microclimate.
