🔬 Experimental Labs – Armenia
From June 29 to July 9, 2025, the Co.Co.War team will host a new Experimental Lab in Armenia, expanding the research to a broader approach. In collaboration with local NGOs, universities, and institutions, the lab will explore the role of heritage in conflict-affected areas and its impact on cultural policies and collective memory. 🇦🇲🇦🇲
The second phase of the Lab will include a summer workshop with students of anthropology and architecture, organized by SIREH and supported by UNIBO. This will be a space to experiment with Co.Co.War’s value-based methodology, encouraging critical reflection and community-centered proposals. 🎓🌍

As part of the Co.Co.War project, a new chapter begins in Armenia 🇦🇲.
This Experimental Lab expands our approach to dissonant heritage by exploring diverse contexts across the territory. Through close collaboration with Armenian universities, associations, and NGOs, we aim to understand how cultural heritage plays a role in identity shaping, conflict resolution, and resilience increasing.
Together, we’ll reflect on how communities engage with complex sites and what strategies are being used to protect, reinterpret, and activate heritage in areas shaped by historical tensions.
Stay with us as we share insights and stories from the field and explore how the past continues to shape the present. 🌍🎓
